Champions rely on peak performance, and so do the water systems behind every successful sporting event. Founded in 1995, LEO PUMP is a leader in intelligent fluid solutions, specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, sales, and service of a full range of pumps and systems. LEO’s cutting-edge pump technology forms the backbone of water supply at major sports events globally. Just as champions push their limits, LEO pumps deliver high-performance water solutions, ensuring seamless event operations and helping athletes perform at their best.
The FIFA World Cup in Qatar marked a historic event. Not only was it the first World Cup hosted in the Arab world, but it was also the last tournament to feature 32 teams. With a massive influx of fans, the local accommodation infrastructure faced significant challenges. To address the limited availability of hotels, the Qatar government constructed Fan Villages, three of which were managed by LEO’s partner, accommodating over 20,000 tourists per night. These villages required a reliable and advanced water supply system to ensure smooth operations.
LEO PUMP, known for its innovative pumps and systems, provides comprehensive intelligent fluid solutions to meet these needs. Leveraging extensive experience in domestic and residential water supply, LEO implemented the BWS water booster system to ensure a stable water supply for both conference staff and tourists. The BWS system is an automatic control pressurized water supply device that adjusts pump pressure according to water consumption. Its key features include comprehensive functionality, reliable quality, stable operation, and ease of maintenance.
Thanks to LEO's robust production capabilities and efficient scheduling, each order was completed in approximately 20 days, ensuring rigorous quality control throughout. The first successful delivery of 78 systems received high praise from our partner in Qatar. Ultimately, LEO delivered an exceptional solution that not only met the project's requirements but also helped reduce overall costs for the customer, setting a high benchmark for future developments in the region.
To prepare for the XIX Pan American Games and VII Parapan American Games, organizers built four residential complexes to accommodate athletes. Post-event, these facilities were repurposed for the local community, ensuring a dual-purpose initiative that benefited both the international sporting event and the local population.
LEO supplied four SS Vertical Pump sets with VFD Intelligent Designs to these apartment complexes. This innovative booster system significantly improved the efficiency of the drinking water systems, ensuring a continuous supply of clean water even under challenging conditions. The system's unique capability to pump water to heights of up to 300 meters and handle water temperatures of up to 120°C makes it an ideal solution for the complex needs of the project.
Throughout this project, the LEO team demonstrated a strong commitment to excellence, skillfully navigating complexities with innovative solutions. The construction process utilized cutting-edge technologies and efficient project management, fostering a collaborative spirit that ensured the timely completion of athlete accommodations. LEO's cutting-edge technology has transformed over 160 countries and regions, improving the lives of more than 500 million users.
During the 19th Asian Games in Hangzhou, LEO played a key role in improving environmental sustainability with its technical expertise. After evaluating the Sanyang Wetland water quality project, LEO provided three custom smart prefabricated pump stations. Despite a tight deadline, LEO’s team delivered and installed the pump stations in just 10 days.
These third-generation LWG smart pump stations are renowned for their precision, durability, environmental friendliness, self-cleaning capabilities, intelligent automation, and ease of installation and maintenance. The advanced features of these stations contributed significantly to the Sanyang Wetland environmental project, improving water quality and enhancing the natural surroundings of the Asian Games venues.
The successful installation and operation of these stations were integral to the project’s completion, demonstrating LEO’s commitment to both technological innovation and environmental stewardship.
LEO is not just a water pump company; it's a story of building a better world through intelligent flow solutions. From international sporting events to local water facilities, LEO pumps consistently rise to the challenge. In diverse and demanding environments, our technology ensures a reliable water supply, supporting the success of global competitions while championing sustainable practices. With a steadfast commitment to innovation and excellence, LEO fuels the future of sports, driving success both on the field and behind the scenes. Like the champions we empower, our pumps are built to achieve greatness.
